Taking glucocorticoids in high doses for a long period of time can cause cataracts, glaucoma, high blood pressure, water retention, high cholesterol, peptic ulcers, pancreatitis, muscle weakness, mood changes, psychosis, thinning skin, allergies, acne, excessive hair growth, decreased immunity, moon face, high blood sugar, low calcium and phosphorus levels, acidosis, stunted growth, and a lack of adrenal hormones. If someone overdoses on glucocorticoids, the dose should be reduced or stopped and treatment should be given to address any symptoms.

I've been battling scabies for a while now, and I have to say that this treatment hasn't been working at all. I've used premathrin as prescribed by my doctor, but it just doesn't seem to be doing anything.
