Digoxin for A Type of Fast Heartbeat - Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia

While this treatment has lowered my pulse rate, I've started experiencing more headaches and stomach aches. Plus, the diarrhea is really tough to deal with. I'm not sure if the benefits are worth the side effects.

Digoxin for Ventricular Rate Control in Atrial Fibrillation

I have a condition called V-Tach, which can be life threatening. I started taking this medication several months ago and it worked great for awhile. However, I recently needed to increase my dosage from 125 mcg once a day to 250 mcg in order to maintain the same level of effectiveness. Additionally, I've experienced some fatigue as a side effect; however, it's been worth it because this is the only medication that has cleared up my scalp condition in 10 years.

Digoxin in combination with Metoperol has effectively slowed my heart rate from atrial fibrillation down to a much healthier 65-70 beats per minute. I still experience the occasional skipped beat, but it's nothing compared to before.

Digoxin for A Type of Fast Heartbeat - Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia

I'm concerned that I might be having a reaction to this medication. I took 18 pills, one per day, three days ago and then began urinating blood. I'm 60 years old and haven't had a period in 14 years, so it's not that. Going to stop taking the pills and see what happens. If anyone has experienced this as a side effect, please let me know.
