What is Beyaz

Levomefolic acidThe Generic name of this drug
Treatment SummaryLevomefolic acid is an active form of the vitamin folic acid which is found in food and in the bloodstream. It helps the body make DNA, create energy, and regulate levels of homocysteine. Levomefolate is approved as a food additive and is considered safe to take as a supplement. People may take levomefolic acid instead of folic acid to help reduce the risk of masking symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency.

Effectiveness

How Beyaz Affects PatientsLevomefolic acid is a form of folic acid that helps control important cell functions, including the production of DNA and proteins. It can also help create neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin, which help with nerve communication. Levomefolic acid is the only form of folic acid that can pass through the blood-brain barrier and can also help with red blood cell formation.
How Beyaz works in the bodyLevomefolic acid helps keep homocysteine levels in the body in check. Homocysteine is a compound that can cause damage to your arteries when there is too much of it in the body. Levomefolic acid helps transform homocysteine into methionine, which is then used to create S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe). SAMe helps with numerous bodily functions, including creating monoamine neurotransmitters. By using levomefolic acid, you can help keep your homocysteine levels low, reducing your risk of arterial plaque formation.

Beyaz for Birth Control
I've been using Beyaz for five years now. When I first started taking birth control, it was more to regulate my period than anything else. After trying a few different options, this is the one that finally worked for me. It did take a couple of months to really start seeing results, but now my period only lasts four days! I'm also sexually active and haven't had any issues in that department either. No weight gain that I've noticed. I still do get cramps the first couple days of my period but nothing Midol can't fix. This has been the best birth control for me by far.

Beyaz for Birth Control
I've tried a few different treatments, and this one really worked for me in terms of my energy levels and sex drive. I didn't see any other changes, but that was totally fine by me.

Beyaz for Birth Control
I've been using this pill for a few years now to help with my periods and PMS symptoms. I was pleased to find that it lightened my flow and made my period shorter overall. The only downside is that I started getting headaches more frequently. I tried switching to the Nuva Ring for a couple months, but it gave me other unpleasant side effects, so I went back to Beyaz in the end because it's just so easy and effective.

Beyaz for Birth Control
I've been on Beyaz for two months now. The first month I had spotting every single day, which improved in the second month. However, I began experiencing extreme mood swings and hormonal issues. This drug almost made me depressed, which is not worth my happiness and sanity. Otherwise,it does its job.

Beyaz for Premenstrual Disorder with a State of Unhappiness
Beyaz is very effective for PMDD or Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, which is PMS with severe emotional symptoms. For that, and for acne, it served me well for over 10 years. However, my hair began falling out, but I did not think it was the Beyaz, because I take many other medications. After a few years when the hair loss became very obvious I stopped the Beyaz, and my hair loss stopped immediately.

Beyaz for Acne
I had great results with my acne after starting this pill, but the side effects are really tough to deal with. I've been getting headaches every day for the past two months, and I often feel dizzy and lightheaded. It's not worth it for me.

Beyaz for Birth Control
I've only been on this birth control for a short time, and I'm already seeing such negative changes. I don't even want to get out of bed anymore, and things that used to make me happy now hold no interest. I'm nauseous and dizzy all the time. This is not sustainable.
