This study will look at how well CagriSema helps people living with obesity to lose weight and maintain the weight loss long-term. The study has 2 parts: The first part is called 'the main study' and the second part is called 'the extension study'. In the main study participants will either get CagriSema (a study medicine) or placebo (a dummy medicine that looks like CagriSema but has no active ingredient). Which treatment participants get is decided by chance. Participants are two times more likely to get CagriSema than placebo. If participants get CagriSema in the main study, participants will continue on CagriSema in the extension study. Which dose of CagriSema participants will continue on is decided by chance. If participants get placebo in the main study, participants will get CagriSema in the extension study. Participants will take one injection of study medicine once a week. The study will last for about 3 years and 3 months.

Baxdrostat + Dapagliflozin for Chronic Kidney Disease

The purpose of this study is to measure the efficacy and safety of baxdrostat/dapagliflozin in participants ≥ 18 years of age with CKD and HTN.
This study consists of a screening, a 4-week dapagliflozin run-in period for participants naïve to SGLT2i at baseline; a 24-month double-blind period in which participants will receive either baxdrostat/dapagliflozin or dapagliflozin; and a 6-week open-label period in which all participants will discontinue baxdrostat/placebo and receive dapagliflozin alone.
Site visits will take place at 2-, 4-, 8-, and 16- weeks following randomisation. Thereafter visits will occur approximately every 4 months, until the 24-month visit at which time baxdrostat/placebo will be discontinued. Participants will continue open-label dapagliflozin for another 6-weeks (approximately), where reassessment of GFR will occur for the primary efficacy endpoint.
In the event of premature discontinuation of blinded study intervention, participants will continue in the study and receive open-label dapagliflozin monotherapy, unless the participant meets dapagliflozin specific discontinuation criteria, in which case all study interventions will be discontinued.

Rise & Renew Program for Grief

This study is testing a new grief support program called Rise \& Renew (Remembering, Expressing, Navigating, Embracing, Witnessing) designed for Black women ages 40 and older who have experienced the loss of a close loved one, such as a spouse or significant other, parent, or child (including pregnancies). The program includes a weekend wellness retreat followed by 10 weeks of online group support. Participants will be randomly assigned to start weekly virtual sessions right away or after a 10-week delay. The study will help the investigators learn whether the program is helpful, easy to take part in, and meaningful for those who attend. The investigators believe that a culturally tailored program that focuses on healing, wellness, and community will improve emotional health, spiritual well-being, and resilience during the grief process.

Crystalloids for Sepsis

Fluids are one of the most common treatments given to patients in the hospital. Fluids are especially important in treating patients with sepsis. Multiple clinical studies have compared the two main types of fluids used in sepsis (normal saline and balanced crystalloids). However, these studies have not found a clear benefit of one type of fluid versus the other. Which fluid should be given to which patient is an essential question because of the ubiquity of this intervention. Even a small difference in mortality could drastically change the standards of care given the national (and worldwide) scale of this intervention. The investigators have developed an algorithm that uses bedside vital signs (temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure) to identify a group of patients (Group D) who have a significant mortality benefit from balanced crystalloids. The study randomizes adult patients admitted through emergency departments across 6 Emory hospitals belonging to Group D to intervention versus usual care. The intervention arm involves a prompt to clinicians to use balanced crystalloids rather than normal saline.

CDC 4 Pillars Program for HPV Vaccination in HIV-Positive Adults

People living with HIV (PLWH) are 28 times more likely to be diagnosed with Human Papillomavirus (HPV) - associated anal cancer than the general population. The HPV vaccine is an effective and safe approach to prevent and reduce the risk of HPV-related disease among PLWH. HPV vaccine programs tailored and implemented in the HIV population are lagging for this high-risk group. The CDC's 4 Pillars Transformation Program is a multi-level, evidence-based intervention that has been successfully used to increase HPV vaccination in the general population and is ready to be tested in the high-risk HIV population, particularly PLWH in the rural South. This program offers providers and clinic staff evidence-based strategies to increase HPV vaccination uptake via training and educational resources. This study proposes to tailor and refine the 4 Pillars Program and conduct this project in three HIV clinics in Georgia.
