Salbutamol is a medicine used to treat asthma and COPD. It is 29 times more likely to affect the lungs than the heart. Salbutamol is made of two different versions, R- and S-isomers, with the R-version being 150 times more powerful than the S-version. A more expensive version of salbutamol, levalbuterol, only has the R-version, but is not as widely used. Salbutamol is used to treat sudden breathing problems, chronic bronchitis, COPD, and to prevent asthma attacks caused by exercise.

How Vospire Er Affects Patients
Salbutamol (also known as albuterol) is a medication used to open up the airways and treat asthma. It works by stimulating beta-1 and beta-2 receptors throughout the body, leading to a decrease in blood pressure and relaxation of muscles. It may also lead to changes in insulin and blood sugar levels, as well as a drop in potassium levels.
How Vospire Er works in the body
Salbutamol works by stimulating beta2-adrenergic receptors in the airways, leading to the production of a molecule called cyclic AMP. This molecule relaxes the airway muscles, making it easier to breathe. Salbutamol also prevents certain molecules from being released from cells in the airway, further helping with breathing. These effects usually occur within 5-15 minutes after inhalation and last for up to 6 hours. Salbutamol has been shown to be more effective in relaxing the airways than other similar drugs, while causing fewer changes in heart rate and blood pressure.

Taking too much Albuterol can cause symptoms like excessive sweating, shaking, a fast heartbeat, low blood pressure, fainting, seizures, breathing problems, and headache. It can also lead to low potassium levels in the body and lactic acidosis. It is not known if Albuterol is safe for pregnant women. Nursing mothers should speak to their doctor before using Albuterol. The safety and effectiveness of Albuterol for children younger than 4 years of age has not been established. Elderly people should take the lowest dose possible and monitor their health regularly.
