Effectiveness

How Striant Affects Patients

Testosterone helps the body create masculine sex organs and physical characteristics. Its effects last for a varying amount of time, usually 10-100 minutes. The normal level of testosterone found in an adult man is usually between 300-1000ng/dL, which is a wide range. Doctors advise patients to be careful when using testosterone products, as their children may be exposed to it.

How Striant works in the body

The androgen receptor is a molecule in the body that binds to testosterone and DHT, two hormones responsible for male sex characteristics. When these hormones bind to the androgen receptor, it triggers a chain reaction that causes changes in the body. These changes include development of the prostate, seminal vesicles, penis, and scrotum as well as facial and body hair, enlargement of the larynx, thickening of the vocal cords, and changes in muscle and fat distribution.

When to interrupt dosage

The recommended measure of Striant is contingent upon the identified condition, including Gonadotrophin releasing hormone deficiency, Orchidectomy and Orchitis. The quantity of dosage is dependent on the technique of delivery featured in the table below.

Striant Toxicity & Overdose Risk

There is limited information available on what happens when someone overdoses on a topical testosterone product. However, those who overdose on an injectable testosterone product may experience a stroke-like event. Treatment for a testosterone overdose includes stopping the use of the product, washing off any topical product with soap and water, and providing supportive care.

Striant for Undescended Testicle

I've been using this medication for two days now. It's overall okay, but I don't like how it sometimes doesn't stick to my gum and is gummy. I just have to get used to it being there and not thinking its food stuck there.

Striant for Deficient Activity of the Testis

I tried this for 3 months, but unfortunately the pellet never stayed in place. I tried several locations on my cheek and gums, but it always fell off after about 6 hours. My levels never really went up, so I discontinued.

Leflutrozole for Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism

18 - 49
Male
Garden City, NY

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate three doses of the drug leflutrozole on improvement of semen quality in men with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, a condition that affects hormone levels and fertility. It will also study the safety of leflutrozole. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does leflutrozole improve semen quality? * What medical problems do participants experience when taking leflutrozole? Researchers will compare leflutrozole to a placebo (a look-alike substance that contains no drug). Participants will: * Take leflutrozole or a placebo orally once a week for 16 weeks. * Visit the clinic every 4 weeks for checkups and tests. * Provide semen samples to measure changes in semen quality. * Have their blood tested to measure hormone levels and ensure safety. * Be monitored for any side effects.
