Effectiveness

How Qnasl Affects PatientsBeclomethasone dipropionate is a drug used to treat inflammatory diseases like asthma, allergic rhinitis, and certain skin conditions. It works by decreasing the activity of inflammatory cells which helps reduce pain, swelling, and other symptoms of inflammation. When inhaled, it can also help improve lung function and relieve asthma symptoms. However, long-term use of this drug can lead to suppressed immune function, growth suppression in children, and disruption of the hypothalamo-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. It can also increase the risk of developing infections like candida albicans of the mouth and
How Qnasl works in the bodyBeclomethasone dipropionate is a corticosteroid that is active once it enters the body and binds to the glucocorticoid receptor. This binds to genes that switch on anti-inflammatory proteins, like lipocortin-1 and interleukin-10, while also blocking pro-inflammatory genes like cytokines and adhesion molecules. This works by preventing transcription factors, like nuclear factor-kappa B, from accessing their binding sites. As a result, the inflammation process is dampened.

When to interrupt dosage

The proposed dosage of Qnasl is contingent upon the specified condition, including Adrenal Cortex Hormones, Dermatosis and Nasal Polyps. The amount of dosage fluctuates, based on the administration technique (e.g. Aerosol, metered; Suspension - Nasal or Powder - Respiratory (inhalation)) detailed in the table beneath.

Qnasl Toxicity & Overdose RiskThe lowest toxic dose of beclometasone dipropionate in rats is greater than 3750mg/kg. In general, this drug has low acute toxicity. However, taking in large amounts of the drug over a short period of time can reduce the activity of the HPA axis. Taking too much of this drug for a long time may also cause adrenal suppression.

Qnasl for Inflammation of the Nose due to an Allergy
Qnasl was much more effective than any other allergy medication I've tried, hands down. The price is pretty steep, but when my allergies are bad, it's worth every penny.

Qnasl for Inflammation of the Nose due to an Allergy
This medication has been great for me. I had really bad allergies that would have me sneezing 20 times in a row, but since starting this treatment, I've barely had any issues. I'm usually pretty good about taking it twice a day like recommended, but sometimes once a day is enough to keep my symptoms at bay.

Qnasl for Presence of Polyps in the Nose
Though my sinus issues were not resolved, this medication did provide some temporary relief. However, after a few days of taking the prescribed dosage I started to experience other problems like nosebleeds, a sore throat, and eventually lost my voice entirely. When I notified my doctor of these adverse effects, he told me to stop taking the medication immediately.

Qnasl for Inflammation of the Nose due to an Allergy
I've been using this product for a few years and have found that, while it does help to treat my symptoms, the canister usually runs out of gas long before it should. I contacted the company about this issue and was told to keep the canister upright at all times; however, this has not solved the problem.
