Effectiveness
How Monodox Affects Patients
Doxycycline is a type of medication that stops bacteria from growing. It is effective against many types of bacteria, but some are resistant to it. The drug is easily absorbed by the body and has antibacterial, antiparasitic and anti-inflammatory properties. It has been seen to be effective in treating certain skin conditions such as bullous dermatoses and rosacea.
How Monodox works in the body
Doxycycline stops bacteria from making the proteins they need to survive. It stops amino acid-tRNA molecules from binding to a spot on the ribosome, which is the part of the cell responsible for making proteins. This process stops the bacteria from making any more proteins, which leads to its death. Doxycycline also works to reduce inflammation. It prevents calcium from gathering in cells and stops lymphocytes from multiplying, which reduces swelling. Lastly, it blocks an enzyme that produces nitric oxide, a molecule that causes inflammation.
When to interrupt dosage
The suggested portion of Monodox is contingent upon the detected affliction, including Urethritis, Chlamydia trachomatis and Respiratory Tract Infections. The magnitude of dosage depends on the procedure of delivery (e.g. Capsule or Syrup - Oral) depicted in the table below.
