This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and potential efficacy of ENV-294 in adults with moderate to severe asthma who are receiving background treatment with inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) and long-acting beta₂-agonists (LABA). Participants will take oral ENV-294 or placebo once daily for 12 weeks. The study includes a screening period of up to 28 days before randomization to confirm eligibility. Study visits and assessments will be conducted to monitor safety, measure drug levels in the blood, and evaluate effects on asthma control and lung function.

The FORTITUDE trial will provide head-to-head evidence on the benefits and harms of two commonly prescribed neuromodulators (low-dose morphine and pregabalin), the effectiveness of a virtual cough control therapy, exploratory assessment of potential synergy in combining these interventions, and the long-term outcomes of these treatments in patients with refractory or unexplained chronic cough.

The purpose of the study is to enroll participants with uncontrolled asthma to evaluate the large and small airways and drug delivery utilizing two study drugs: * Beclometasone dipropionate/Formoterol fumarate dihydrate/Glycopyrronium bromide (BDP/FF/G) or Trimbow * Fluticasone furoate/Umeclidinium/Vilanterol (FluF/UMEC/VI ) or Trelegy Ellipta

This study aims to compare the efficacy of a one-time IM dose of dexamethasone versus a 5-day course of prednisone in adult ED patients presenting with asthma exacerbations. This is a randomized, controlled, double-blind, non-inferiority trial conducted at two urban EDs within the Montefiore Health System.

The trial aims to evaluate whether the Airvo 3 device in OptiO2 mode can maintain patients' SpO2 levels within the target range better than manual oxygen titration in hospitalized COPD patients with hypoxemia/respiratory distress.

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of brenipatide at different dose levels compared with placebo in participants with moderate-to-severe asthma. Study participation will last approximately 65 weeks, including screening, treatment, and follow-up periods.

This is a pilot study to evaluate the role digital inhaler technology on patients with obstructive lung disease in preventing admissions and exacerbation, as well as improving symptom control. The primary objective is to evaluate feasibility of study protocol, patient recruitment, and patient retention with goal recruitment of 20 participants, 60% recruitment success, and 60% retention rate for 6 months duration. The secondary objectives are the evaluation of patient admission rate, exacerbation rates, and symptoms control with use of digital inhaler technology The subject population will be patients with physician diagnosed obstructive lung disease.

This is a parallel, Phase 2/Phase 3, 3-arm study to investigate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of subcutaneous (SC) treatment with lunsekimig compared with placebo in adult participants (aged 40 to 80 years, inclusive) with inadequately controlled Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) characterized by an eosinophilic phenotype. Participation to the study consists of 3 periods: * Screening period of up to 4 weeks * Randomized intervention period of approximately 48 weeks * Follow-up period: Approximately 8 weeks The study duration will be up to 60 weeks.

The study is a randomized controlled trial on the effect of emergency department initiation of Airsupra on acute asthma "recurrence" at 3 months and other related outcomes (acute asthma relapse, asthma control).

The goal of this study is to learn whether patients who have a genetic mutation in the genes that cause alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency also have genetic variation in nearby genes that can increase risk for reduced immune function and respiratory infections. To investigate this hypothesis, we will compare immune responses to the 20-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV20, Pfizer) between participants who have one abnormal copy of the SERPINA1 gene and either no COPD exacerbations, vs those with 2 or more COPD exacerbations in the past year.

Although COPD self-management treatment programs are effective in reducing COPD-related hospitalizations and increasing quality of life, there is a limited understanding of 'how and why' they work. The proposed research will use an engineering-inspired study design to identify effective COPD self-management treatment components and guide its 'real world' implementation. The long-term goal of this line of research is to build an optimized COPD self-management program, and scale the program up to reduce the burden of COPD at a population health level.
