Effectiveness

How Alyacen 1/35 Affects PatientsNorethisterone is a synthetic pill taken to prevent pregnancy or treat hormone-related issues, such as menopause or endometriosis. This medicine works much more powerfully than the hormone progesterone normally found in the body. It works by affecting the pelvic area and preventing ovulation, as well as by stopping the hormones that normally control ovulation. Taking norethisterone can increase the risk of developing breast cancer, so people on this medication should be aware of this risk and regularly check for any suspicious lumps.
How Alyacen 1/35 works in the bodyNorethisterone works by binding to progesterone receptors, which can be found in various parts of the body such as the reproductive tract, breasts, and brain. When used as a contraceptive, it thickens the cervical mucus to make it difficult for sperm to pass through. It also changes the endometrium, making it harder for a fertilized egg to implant there. Finally, it suppresses the release of hormones from the pituitary gland, preventing follicular development and ovulation. When used as a component of hormone replacement therapy in menopausal women, it helps suppress the growth of the endometrium to reduce

Alyacen 1/35 Reviews: What are patients saying about Alyacen 1/35?

5Patient Review

Alyacen 1/35 for Birth Control
Alyacen has been great. I was switched after Necon was no longer available and have had the same great results. I've never experienced any of the side affects associated with some birth controls and I have been on it for 6 years.

Alyacen 1/35 for Abnormally Long or Heavy Periods
I had to switch birth controls because the ones I was taking before made my periods really heavy, but this one regulated them back to normal. The only problem is that it caused me to develop cystic acne, which fortunately cleared up after I started taking minocycline. All in all, it's been an effective medication with few side effects.

Alyacen 1/35 for Birth Control
The first week was tough as my body adjusted. I experienced common side effects like dizziness and nausea, but they eventually subsided. There have been some changes in mood, but nothing unmanageable. With extra effort to watch my diet and fluid intake, I haven't seen any change in weight.

Alyacen 1/35 for Abnormal Bleeding from the Uterus
I bled quite heavily after taking this medication, to the point where I had to go to the emergency room. Thankfully, it's decreased since then and I'm almost back to normal. However, be sure to take this medication with food in your stomach, preferably at night time.

Alyacen 1/35 for Birth Control
I'm on my second pack of this medication and I've had my blood pressure checked twice since starting it. It's been through the roof! Normally, I'm just below 120/80 but yesterday it was 159/98. A week ago, I went to the med stop and it was around the same thing. I've also gained weight and been very moody. The high blood pressure scares me, so I'm going to call my doctor in the morning.

Alyacen 1/35 for Birth Control
I was on Necon 1/35 for many years, but then I couldn't get it anymore so my doctor switched me to Alyacen 1/35. I haven't been happy with this new pill; it has made me sweat for no reason, emotional, dizzy, and gain 20 pounds! This is totally unlike me and I'm thinking about getting off the pill soon.

Alyacen 1/35 for Acne
I tried this pill to help with my acne, but it made it worse than it's ever been. I had to switch pills and am now on Yaz.

Alyacen 1/35 for Birth Control
I took this for two days and felt awful the entire time. I had constant bees-stinging sensation, my hands and feet felt tingly and painful, and I was nauseous constantly. My va-jj also started hurting for no reason. Do not recommend this birth control at all!

Alyacen 1/35 for Abnormally Long or Heavy Periods
I had two heart attacks from clots. The doctors couldn't find any other reason than birth control.
