Effectiveness

How Micronor Affects PatientsNorethisterone is a medication taken orally as a synthetic form of the hormone progesterone. It is used as birth control or to treat other hormone-related conditions like menopause symptoms or endometriosis. Norethisterone works by changing cervical and endometrial function, as well as blocking certain hormones from being released from the pituitary gland that are needed for egg development and ovulation. Taking norethisterone, as with other hormonal contraceptives, may slightly increase the risk of breast cancer. Patients should be made aware of this risk and should perform regular self-examinations to check for
How Micronor works in the bodyNorethisterone works by changing cells in the reproductive tract, breast, pituitary, hypothalamus, skeletal tissue, and central nervous system. It makes the cervical mucous thicker and harder for sperm to move through. It also changes the endometrium in a way that makes it difficult for a fertilized egg to attach and grow. Norethisterone also negatively affects the hormones released by the hypothalamus and pituitary, which prevents ovulation and the development of the corpus luteum. In hormone replacement therapy for menopausal women, norethisterone is used to prevent the growth of the endomet

Micronor for Birth Control
Micronor has been working great for me for the last four years. I haven't had any issues with it, and it's helped me avoid problems like weight gain, acne, and periods.

Micronor for Birth Control
I haven't had much trouble taking it, an alarm works great! I have been off by a few hrs. a couple times in the past 1 1/2 yrs of using it- I never use condoms and haven't gotten pregnant (Not that I would recommend that). I have however gained about 20 lbs and haven't been able to loose it as easily as before I was on the pill. I still get a monthly period but it is regular and very rarely is there spotting.

Micronor for Birth Control
I was able to breastfeed while taking this medication with no issues whatsoever. My period became a bit irregular, but that might have just been because of the breastfeeding. Overall, I'm really happy with how well this worked for me.

I found it very easy to take this at the same time every day when brushing my teeth. I am taking this because I am breastfeeding and planned to switch when the baby was weaned. However I discovered that I am pregnant.

Micronor for Birth Control
This pill was one of the best that I tried when struggling with an eating disorder. It didn't make me as hungry, and my periods were irregular but never lasted more than a few days. I sometimes struggle to take it at the same time every day, but it has always been effective for me.

Micronor for Birth Control
I've been on this birth control for three months now and my husband and I have been really enjoying our intimate life. However, a few negative side effects have arisen, like severe acne (which I've never had before) and breakthrough bleeding.

Micronor for Birth Control
I've been on this medicine for a while now, and it's helped me in some ways but not others. I still get my period monthly, which is worrying considering the information says I shouldn't be ovulating. It's easy to remember to take since I just set an alarm on my phone, though.

I was on this medication for six years while I battled breast cancer. Please be sure to read the warnings before taking this drug.

Micronor for Birth Control
I was on this medication for four years. For the first three, my period was lighter but very irregular, lasting anywhere from 25 to 50 days. The last year, I have been having very frequent, painful, and heavy periods, sometimes bleeding for 3 or 4 weeks straight. I have just switched and hope the new pill is better. I also hope it doesn't decrease my sex drive like micronor did.

I would be more careful if I were you. I got pregnant even though I was only an hour late taking this pill. Make sure to set an alarm or something so you don't forget.
