2/24/2017 Librium can stay in your system for an extended period of time. I noticed that about a week after getting out of detox, I started to experience withdrawal symptoms. I had been feeling great and didn't know what was happening. Once I realized it was the librium leaving my system, though, things made a lot more sense. However, treatment places need to have much better tapering programs available.
