What is Alocril used for?
"Alocril, or nedocromil, is a prescription eye drop used to treat itchy eyes related to allergies. Alocril was also available as an inhalation solution for treating asthma under the brand name Tilade, but that medication is no longer available."
What type of drug is nedocromil?
"Nedocromil is used to treat itchy eyes that are caused by allergies. Allergy symptoms happen when cells in your body called mast cells release substances after you come in contact with something to which you are allergic. Nedocromil belongs to a class of drugs called mast cell stabilizers."
How long to wait between eye drops?
"Be sure to space out your drops when taking multiple medications- waiting 5 to 10 minutes in between. This will ensure that each drop is effective and that you aren't rinsing the first drop out with the second."
