P2P Trial Summary
This trial will develop and test a PrEP activation, navigation and support intervention for young men who have sex with men (YMSM); this population not only has the highest annual incidence of HIV, but also is the least likely to have ever used PrEP.

- You have not had anal sex or tested positive for a sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the last 6 months.You must identify your race as White/Caucasian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino/Latinx, or mixed-race.You do not speak English.You do not identify as White/Caucasian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino/Latinx, or mixed-race.You do not identify as gay, bisexual or any other same-sex identity, and/or you have not had sexual contact with someone who has a penis in the last 12 months.You must be between 16 and 26 years of age.You live in the Los Angeles city region.You are a man who has had sexual contact with another man in the past year.You have engaged in anal sex or tested positive for a sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the past 6 months.You are already taking or planning to start PrEP medication within the next week, and/or currently participating in another study for HIV prevention.You can be any gender, including if you identify differently from the gender assigned to you at birth.You are not from a racial or ethnic background that has been identified for this study.You are not male, or you do not identify with the gender assigned to you at birth.You do not identify as gay, bisexual, or another same-sex identity, and you haven't had sex with someone who has a penis in the past year.You identify with one or more of the following racial and ethnic categories: White/Caucasian, Black/African American, Latinx, Asian-Pacific Islander, Indigenous, Native American or mixed-race.
- Group 1: Control
- Group 2: Experimental
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
