Who is running the clinical trial?

- You have a medical condition that prevents you from drinking any alcohol.You must be willing to limit your alcohol intake to safe levels.You use drugs regularly, other than alcohol, nicotine, or caffeine, and have done so more than once a week in the past month or more than twice a week for marijuana.You do not want to stop using drugs or alcohol during the study, or you plan to seek additional substance abuse treatment while in the study.You drink more than 9 (for women) or 11 (for men) standard drinks per week on average, or you drink more than 4 (for women) or 5 (for men) drinks at least two nights per week in one sitting.
- Group 1: Tailored Content Only (TO)
- Group 2: TA Intervention
- Group 3: Drink Tracking (MA) Condition
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.

"This clinical trial is welcoming up to 730 individuals, aged 21-75 and with a history of alcohol consumption, under the following conditions: access to mobile phone/email address; availability to receive and reply to 115 text messages per month (on average); nomination of an emergency contact person; willingness to reduce drinking habits below hazardous levels; weekly minimum intake of 9 or 11 standard drinks for women and men respectively OR at least 2 nights per week consuming more than 4/5 beverages in one session."
