- I have not had a heart event or procedure in the last 3 months.You are allergic to blueberries or dates.Your blood pressure is higher than 200 mmHg.I have severe heart failure.My diabetes is not under control, with an A1c over 9%.I have had gastric bypass surgery.I am currently undergoing cancer treatment.My kidneys are in the final stage of failure.I have had an organ transplant.I do not have any planned hospital stays or vacations in the next 4 months.I am unable to understand and give consent due to cognitive issues.I live independently.I am 70 years old.
- Group 1: Blueberry Consumption
- Group 2: Dried Date Consumption
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
