- I cannot eat normally due to allergies, restrictions, or preferences.I am scheduled for surgery to remove pancreatic cancer at MGH.I have severe lung problems like COPD, emphysema, or need extra oxygen.I am scheduled for FOLFIRINOX chemotherapy before surgery.You have a history of problems with your thinking or mental health.I have severe joint pain, amputations, injuries, or chronic pain like fibromyalgia.My cancer has spread to other parts of my body.I was treated for pancreatic cancer and haven't had any cancer therapy in the last 5 years.I use walking aids or a wheelchair due to physical impairment.I do not have uncontrolled high blood pressure, severe heart failure, or a recent heart attack.I am planning to have total neoadjuvant therapy at MGH.I am 18 years old or older.I was diagnosed with a specific type of pancreatic cancer within the last 8 weeks.
- Group 1: Multimodal Prehabilitation Program
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
