This trial will test if a magnetic field can help reduce PTSD symptoms.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for US military veterans who have been diagnosed with PTSD using standard assessments and are medically stable. It's not suitable for individuals with metal implants in the head or neck, a history of seizures, or those actively abusing substances.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study is testing whether transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) at a frequency of 1 HZ applied to the right frontal cortex can reduce symptoms in patients suffering from PTSD.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
While TMS is generally considered safe, potential side effects may include headache, scalp discomfort at the site of stimulation, tingling or spasms of facial muscles, lightheadedness, and rare risk of seizure.
