10/9/2013 I'm 72 and I had no problems with this drug! Some people might complain about the taste, but I think that's just because they're expecting it to be bad. Personally, I didn't find it too bad at all (I used the lemon flavoring).

3/3/2013 I put this product in a blender and mixed it. It was like a milkshake and the taste was not nearly as bad and it was a heck of alot easier to drink. This is probably my 19th colonoscopy and finally I figured out how to get this product into me without the horrible gagging.

5/28/2014 I am a 44 year old female and have used this prep four times before colonoscopies. The taste is unpalatable, to say the least. I don't understand why everyone, regardless of size, is supposed to drink an entire gallon. I've never been able to finish it, and it's incredibly unpleasant trying. I would prefer if my doctor was more forthcoming with information on when enough is enough.

10/10/2019 Though this mixture is texturally similar to dog saliva, it works well. However, side effects include bloating, abdominal discomfort, headaches, runny nose, and horrible chills.

4/24/2009 I really hope there's a better way to do this colonoscopy prep because man, this stuff is awful. I've never been able to keep it down and even thinking about it makes me nauseous.

2/14/2010 I tried to take this, but I got so nauseous that I threw up after the third glass. It was honestly the worst experience ever and I had to cancel my colonoscopy as a result. I really hope that medical professionals can come up with something better than this in the future because it's just not worth it.
