7/13/2013 I started this treatment last Tuesday, and there's been very little improvement. The anti-inflammatory pills the doctor prescribed didn't help at all, so I stopped taking them. I've switched back to over-the-counter Advil gel tabs, which have helped a little bit. I've also noticed some hearing loss from the drops, which is concerning. Hopefully it's just a side effect of the infection and not something permanent.
