Adults between 18 and 80 years of age with ulcerative colitis can participate in this study. This is a study for people for whom previous treatment was not successful or who stopped previous treatment. The purpose of this study is to find out whether BI 3032950 helps people with ulcerative colitis. This study has 2 parts. In Part A, participants get BI 3032950 as an infusion into a vein every 4 weeks. After 12 weeks, doctors check whether the signs and symptoms of ulcerative colitis have improved. Before the results of this assessment are available, participants move on to Part B and get BI 3032950 as an injection under the skin. Participants whose results show clinical response after 12 weeks can continue treatment with BI 3032950. They get BI 3032950 injections under the skin every 4 weeks for up to 2 years. Participants visit their doctors every 4 weeks. During these visits, the doctors check the signs and symptoms of ulcerative colitis. This includes taking blood and stool samples. Doctors also do endoscopies. This is a procedure that uses a tube with a camera to look inside the body. The doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate if a specific type of additional walking therapy, called body weight supported treadmill training (BWSTT) affects walking ability following a traumatic spinal cord injury. Specifically, the study will look at whether starting BWSTT, which uses a body harness to support body weight while walking on a treadmill at different times within the first 6 months after the injury, makes a difference in how effective this therapy may be, While we know that the brain re-learns patterns following an injury, there has not been a lot of prior research evaluating how starting this type of walking therapy at specific times within the first 6 months after injury may impact any effectiveness of the additional therapy. The study will randomize participants into four groups: those who start this therapy within 60 days, within 3 months, within 6 months or who do not receive this additional research therapy. Randomization means that which group you will be in as part of this study is determined by chance, like the flip of a coin. The additional walking therapy for this research study, if you are randomized for one of the three groups who receives the additional therapy, will be given on top of (meaning in addition to) any standard of care therapies that you may be receiving at that time point after your injury.

This trial is testing two different treatment combinations for patients with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer who have not received any prior treatment. One group will receive a new drug called Serplulimab along with standard chemotherapy, while the other group will receive an existing drug called Atezolizumab with the same chemotherapy. Both immunotherapy drugs aim to help the immune system fight cancer, and the chemotherapy drugs work by killing cancer cells. Atezolizumab has been shown to improve survival in small-cell lung cancer when combined with chemotherapy, changing the standard first-line therapy.

Why Other Patients Applied

"I've been struggling with ADHD and anxiety since I was 9 years old. I'm currently 30. I really don't like how numb the medications make me feel. And especially now, that I've lost my grandma and my aunt 8 days apart, my anxiety has been even worse. So I'm trying to find something new."

"I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer three months ago, metastatic to my liver, and I have been receiving and responding well to chemotherapy. My blood work revealed that my tumor markers have gone from 2600 in the beginning to 173 as of now, even with the delay in treatment, they are not going up. CT Scans reveal they have been shrinking as well. However, chemo is seriously deteriorating my body. I have 4 more treatments to go in this 12 treatment cycle. I am just interested in learning about my other options, if any are available to me."

ID
Pancreatic Cancer PatientAge: 40

"I changed my diet in 2020 and I’ve lost 95 pounds from my highest weight (283). I am 5’3”, female, and now 188. I still have a 33 BMI. I've been doing research on alternative approaches to continue my progress, which brought me here to consider clinical trials."

WR
Obesity PatientAge: 58

"I've tried several different SSRIs over the past 23 years with no luck. Some of these new treatments seem interesting... haven't tried anything like them before. I really hope that one could work."

ZS
Depression PatientAge: 51

"My orthopedist recommended a half replacement of my right knee. I have had both hips replaced. Currently have arthritis in knee, shoulder, and thumb. I want to avoid surgery, and I'm open-minded about trying a trial before using surgery as a last resort."

Contemporary treatments for hyperfunctional voice disorders such as muscle tension dysphonia (MTD) are effective but typically do not restore voice handicap or voice function to normal thresholds. Recent reports of vibration as a voice therapy modality have been published, but many questions remain about the efficacy of this tool. The current project addresses these problems through a blinded and randomized controlled trial to investigate the efficacy of local translaryngeal vibration for MTD and the dose-response relationship of this modality when compared to treatment without vibration.

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if AP301 could work in the patients receiving maintenance dialysis with elevated blood phosphate. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does AP301 lower blood phosphate levels? * Does AP301 works on serum calcium level, calcium times phosphate level, and intact parathyroid hormone level? * What discomfort or medical problem do the patients have when taking AP301? * Does AP301 improve quality of life in Chinese patients? The researchers will compare AP301 to an ineffective comparator (a look-alike substance that contains low dose AP301) to see if AP301 works to treat elevated blood phosphate. In the study, the patients will experience the following stages in a chronicle order: * Stop all using blood phosphate-lowering drugs, * Take AP301 or the comparator three times a day for 8 weeks, * Take AP301 three times a day for 24 weeks, and * Take AP301 or the comparator three times a day for 3 weeks. In the first 32 weeks, the dose of AP301 will be adjusted upwards or downwards based on the patient's blood phosphate level and the study doctor's judgment. If the participant has a blood phosphate level above or below a certain level, they may receive additional treatment to lower the blood phosphate level.

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if ARD-101 works to treat hyperphagia-related behavior in patients with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). It will also teach us about the safety of ARD-101. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does ARD-101 improve the total score of the HQCT-9 (hyperphagia questionnaire for clinical trials, 9 questions)? * What medical problems do participants have when taking ARD-101? Researchers will compare ARD-101 to a placebo (a look-alike substance that contains no drug) to see if ARD-101 works to treat hyperphagia in PWS subjects. Eligible participants will: * Take ARD-101 or a placebo every day for 12 weeks. * Visit the clinic or have a tele-visit once every 2 to 4 weeks during dosing and then have a tele-visit 4 weeks after stopping the ARD-101 or placebo. * Patients/Caregivers will keep a daily diary.
