Treatment Summary
Human growth hormone (HGH) is a peptide hormone made by the somatotropic cells in the pituitary gland. It helps regulate growth, metabolism, fat and muscle mass, and blood glucose levels. It’s been available as a recombinant form since 1985 and is available as a subcutaneous injection under various brand names. It is approved to treat growth hormone deficiency, growth failure, or short stature in children and adults, including conditions like Turner Syndrome, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Noonan Syndrome, and idiopathic short stature.

How Soma Affects Patients
Somatotropin is a hormone that increases the size of many different parts of the body, including muscles and internal organs, as well as increasing red blood cells. It helps the body retain potassium and phosphorus and promote protein synthesis. It may also improve nutritional parameters in people with end-stage renal disease. Somatotropin is known to cause insulin resistance, meaning it can make it harder for the body to use insulin to control blood sugar levels. It also increases the breakdown of fat and decreases LDL cholesterol levels. In contrast, it increases the uptake of fat in skeletal muscle. In some cases, it can also lead to an increase in
How Soma works in the body
Somatotropin is used to treat conditions of growth failure, growth hormone deficiency, low body mass, and malnutrition. It works by binding to a receptor called the human growth hormone receptor, which triggers the release of special molecules called transcription factors. These transcription factors help to regulate the genes that control growth, leading to increased muscle and bone mass, and reduced fat mass. Somatotropin also increases the production of a molecule called insulin-like growth factor-1, which further stimulates linear growth. In the liver, somatotropin increases the production of proteins that bind to insulin-like growth factor-1, making it last longer
Warnings
Soma has twelve contraindications and should not be used while suffering from any of the conditions indicated in the following table.

Description
Soma Toxicity & Overdose Risk
The lowest toxic dose of somatropin in rats is 242 mg/kg orally, 828 mg/kg when inhaling, and 1100 mg/kg when applied to the skin. Overdose on somatropin can lead to episodes of low and then high blood sugar levels, swelling, and in more extreme cases, the signs and symptoms of gigantism and acromegaly.
