What You Need to Know Before You Apply

What is the purpose of this trial?

We are conducting this research in individuals with migraines to find out if a daily magnet helmet application could alter migraine-related brain inflammation. Outcomes will be assessed through examining any changes in Translocator Protein (TSPO) binding on Positron Emission Tomography-Computed Tomography (PET-CT) imaging both before and after the magnet helmet intervention period. Additionally, patient-reported migraine symptoms will be measured using validated questionnaires administered during the four-week pre- and post- intervention monitoring periods.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

This trial is for adults who experience migraines. People with certain medical conditions or other reasons that could interfere with the study may not be able to participate.

  • Static Magnetic Helmet

Trial Overview

The study tests whether wearing a helmet that produces a static magnetic field every day can reduce brain inflammation linked to migraines. Changes are measured by brain scans and migraine symptom questionnaires before and after using the helmet.
