- Babies younger than 12 months having surgery to bypass something that is not a heart problem from birth.You have had seizures in the past.You have a history of serious fast heartbeats.Children under 18 years old who have had a heart transplant and have specific heart conditions.This study includes children with specific heart conditions who are having open heart surgery, including very young babies with certain types of heart problems.
- Group 1: Aminophylline pre CPB & immediately post CPB
- Group 2: Placebo
