This is a prospective randomized study of patients who are scheduled to undergo minimally invasive robotic gynecologic surgery. Patients will be randomized to require either pre-surgical bowel preparation vs. no bowel preparation. The effect of bowel preparation on intraoperative visualization, bowel handling, intestinal load and ease of surgery will be assessed. Patient comfort and satisfaction will be assessed.

The investigators aim to determine the effect of cryotherapy wraps plus compression therapy (henceforth referred to as cryocompression) versus cryotherapy wraps alone on the incidence and degree of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy in patients with gynecologic cancer using a noninferiority design. The goal of this clinical trial is to assess the efficacy of SensoniQ® Treatment Station in preventing or reducing chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) in patients receiving frontline carboplatin and paclitaxel chemotherapy for a gynecologic malignancy. This study will also assess the improvement of CIPN in patients who have previously received carboplatin and paclitaxel therapy with persistent Grade 2 or worse neuropathy. The main questions this clinical trial aims to answer are: 1. To investigate the efficacy of SensoniQ® Treatment Station on the prevention or reduction of CIPN in gynecologic oncology patients receiving front line carboplatin and paclitaxel. 2. To investigate the efficacy of SensoniQ® Treatment Station on the improvement of existing CIPN in patients who previously received chemotherapy with platinum agent and paclitaxel for a gynecologic malignancy

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is a commonly used medication after surgery to control pain. Tablets for oral use and suppositories for rectal use are the most frequently employed forms of acetaminophen after surgery. Intravenous (IV) acetaminophen is widely used in several countries but is not a standard medication for the adult population in Canada. It is mainly considered when it is impossible to take medication in tablet or suppository form. Opioids (Morphine, Hydromorphone, Oxycodone, etc.) are another class of medications commonly used after surgery for pain management. While they are generally very effective and stronger than acetaminophen or other pain relievers (e.g., ibuprofen/Advil), reducing their use is preferable, as they can cause various side effects such as nausea, dizziness, and dependence. IV acetaminophen may help control pain while also reducing opioid consumption. However, there are few high-quality scientific studies proving the benefits of IV acetaminophen compared to other forms, such as tablets or suppositories. Acetaminophen has been available in Canada for many years and has already been recommended for use in Quebec by the Institut national d'excellence en santé et services sociaux (INESSS) under certain conditions. This study aims to validate its benefits with clear data.

The Investigator propose a randomized trial that will assess whether participant involvement in pre-operative counseling for ERAS improves post-surgical pain scores. The Investigator will also assess participant compliance to ERAS-prescribed medications, and functionality (return to school).
