- My surgery will involve a cut between 3 to 17 cm long.I need surgery urgently due to my condition.My wound is not clean and might be infected.I haven't taken antibiotics for an infection in the week before surgery, except for prevention.I had major abdominal surgery within the last 15 days.I am 18 years old or older.I have a stoma.I am 18 years old or older.My surgery will have an incision between 3 to 17 cm long.I am scheduled for colorectal surgery, either open or minimally invasive.I am receiving standard infection prevention treatment before surgery.I am under 18 years old.I am scheduled for surgery to remove part of my colon, either open or laparoscopic.I am receiving standard infection prevention treatments before surgery.My wound is not clean and may be infected.
- Group 1: Alexis O Wound Protector
- Group 2: CleanCision Wound Protector
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
