This trial will study an intervention to help parents and teens quit smoking/vaping, preventing 48,000 preventable deaths and $16.2 billion in health costs annually. It will assess feasibility and effectiveness to inform a larger trial.

- I am a parent or guardian of a child who uses nicotine products.I am a parent over 18, attending a medical appointment, and speak French or English well.I am over 18, my child is 17 or younger, we have a medical appointment, and I can read and answer in English or French.I am between 14-17 years old, speak English or French, and have agreed to participate.Have you used an e-cigarette or vaping device with nicotine in the past week, even if it was just one puff?I am 14-17 years old, meet the required criteria, and have consented to participate.Have you smoked any amount of cigarettes in the past week, even a single puff?I am 14-17 years old and use cigarettes or vape products.I am between 14 and 17 years old and I use nicotine products.
- Group 1: CEASE Intervention arm
- Group 2: Control: Usual care condition
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
