- My prostate cancer was confirmed by a biopsy within the last 18 months.I have no other active cancers, except for certain skin, bladder cancers, or early stage leukemia/lymphoma.I have only had transurethral surgery for an enlarged prostate.I am between 35 and 85 years old.I agree to have multiple MRI scans and MRI-guided biopsies.I agree to complete questionnaires about my health and well-being.I have not had radiation therapy to my pelvic area.My prostate cancer biopsy shows a Gleason score of 4+3 or higher.My prostate cancer has a Gleason score of 3+4 in more than 2 biopsy samples.My MRI and physical exam suggest cancer has spread outside the prostate.My biopsy shows more than 4 areas with cancer cells of any aggressiveness.I have had both of my hips replaced.
- Group 1: Active Surveillance
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
