This trial assesses the safety & effectiveness of a light-based skin treatment to improve wrinkles & acne.
Who is the study for?
Adults over 18 with moderate to severe skin pigmentation issues, Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV. Participants must limit sun exposure, use SPF 30+ sunscreen daily, avoid other skin treatments during the study, and not plan pregnancy. Excludes those with certain skin conditions or sensitivities, recent smokers, or those on light-sensitive medications.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The trial is testing Broadband Light treatment's safety and effectiveness for treating pigmented skin lesions. It involves a series of light-based treatments on the affected area while monitoring changes in the appearance of the skin.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Potential side effects may include temporary redness or swelling at the treatment site, increased sensitivity to sunlight, blistering or bruising depending on individual reactions to light therapy. Long-term side effects are being evaluated as part of this study.

Eligibility Criteria:
This trial includes the following eligibility criteria:- I haven't had cosmetic treatments on the target area in the last 3 months.You have dark skin (Fitzpatrick skin type V-VI).I haven't taken retinoids or corticosteroids in the last 6 months.I have had radiation or chemotherapy for cancer.I have a history of skin color changes.You have a history of skin conditions like vitiligo, eczema, or psoriasis.I have no skin issues like cuts or large moles in the area to be treated.I have an infection, dermatitis, or rash where I would receive treatment.I am taking medication that makes my skin more sensitive to light.I have a connective tissue disease like lupus or scleroderma.You have had recurring herpes simplex or shingles in the area where treatment will be done, unless you are taking medicine to prevent it.You have smoked or used tobacco products in the past 6 months.I haven't had injections like Botox or fillers in the target area in the last week.I have had seizures triggered by lights.I have used gold therapy for conditions like rheumatoid arthritis or lupus.I have a history of immune system problems or am taking medication that weakens my immune system.I am willing to limit my sun exposure and use SPF 30+ sunscreen daily during the study.I am 18 years or older and in good health.Your skin type is between very light and light brown.I have noticeable moderate to severe skin pigmentation.I haven't used retinoid, corticosteroid, or hydroquinone on the target area in the last month.I will not undergo any other skin treatments like lasers or injections during the study.I am post-menopausal, surgically sterilized, or using reliable birth control and do not plan to become pregnant during the study.I have had cancer in the area being targeted for treatment.I have a blood clotting disorder or am on blood thinners.You have a history of abnormal or excessive scarring after injuries or surgeries.I have a serious health condition like uncontrolled high blood pressure or diabetes.
