- You are taking certain medications that can affect blood sugar levels.You are unable to take the maximum exercise test on a treadmill.You have been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes before.Children between 8 and 17 years old who are at least in the 5th percentile for their body mass index (BMI).You have a genetic condition that affects how your body processes fats.You are allergic to palm oil, lactose, or soy.
- Group 1: High-fat Metabolic Challenge
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
