Who is the study for?
This trial is for pairs of people where one has Parkinson's disease (estimated at Hoehn & Yahr Stage 2, can walk without help) and the other is their caregiver. Both must have normal vision and hearing (with aids if needed), be able to use a computer with internet and Zoom, and live in Idaho. People with dementia or severe musculoskeletal pain cannot join.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests an online training program based on Alexander Technique designed for those with Parkinson's and their caregivers. The aim is to improve what’s called 'embodied agency', which might affect movement control.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this intervention involves educational training rather than medication, traditional side effects are not expected; however, participants may experience fatigue or discomfort from new exercises.
