- I can walk indoors and outdoors without help or devices.I have had a stroke or other neurological conditions.I have been diagnosed with early-stage Parkinson's disease.I have been cleared for physical activity by completing the PAR-Q or getting a doctor's approval.I do not have any injuries that would stop me from exercising.
- Group 1: Occupational therapy intervention group
- Group 2: Disease management education group
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.

Secondary outcomes include change from baseline modified 2 minute step test at 4 months and 6 months, post-intervention acceptability questionnaire based on theoretical framework of acceptability as well as change from baseline timed-up-and go (TUG) at 4 months and 6 months which involves walking 3 meters with an accompanying caregiver for safety purposes while counting backwards by three starting at a random number between 20 and 100."
