- You weigh more than what is considered healthy for your height.I have had heart issues, chest pain, or fainting in the last year.I am currently on medication for weight loss.I have lost 5% or more of my body weight in the last 6 months.You are planning to get pregnant within the next 1.5 years.You have a medical condition that may make it unsafe for you to exercise without supervision.I can read and speak English at a 6th grade level or higher.I can walk 2 city blocks without needing to stop.
- Group 1: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Group 2: Self-Regulation (SR)
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
