RYSE Trial Summary

This trial program helps families with children ages 5-12 years old to make healthy lifestyle changes to reach a healthier weight. The program focuses on helping participating families set up healthy support systems at home, at school and in social settings.

Who is the study for?
The RYSE program is for families with children aged 5-12 who are significantly overweight, based on BMI percentiles. To join, the child must be under primary care at a participating clinic, live with the parent more than half the time, and both must speak English comfortably. The family should have Missouri Medicaid and not plan to move away during the study.Check my eligibility
