- My baby was born before 34 weeks of pregnancy.I am not medically approved to join the study.You have Down syndrome or another developmental disability that has been diagnosed by a doctor.You were not born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.My newborn is in the NICU or nursery.You have been diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.I do not have a hearing disorder.I have a diagnosed hearing disorder.You do not have a known developmental disability like Down Syndrome.
- Group 1: Control
- Group 2: Music Therapy
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.

In order to participate, they must have been admitted in a NICU or newborn nursery, have a corrected gestational age of 34 weeks or more, not suffer from any hearing disorders, no diagnosed developmental disability (such as Down syndrome) and their parent/legal guardian must be willing to consent and complete surveys."
