Study Summary
This trialwill test if hypnosis could help people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) sleep better. 20 participants will practice hypnosis for 7 weeks, and researchers will measure the success and feasibility of the intervention.

Group I: Self-Administered HypnosisExperimental Treatment1 Intervention
Participants randomized to the self-administered hypnosis group will receive five audio-recordings of self-administered hypnosis, specifically targeting sleep improvement, which they will use for daily home practice.
Group II: White Noise Hypnosis ControlActive Control1 Intervention
Participants randomized to the white noise hypnosis control will receive the same information and contact with the therapist but will be provided with audio recordings that contain white noise as a sham hypnosis condition. These recordings include instructions and the use of white noise as a hypnotic induction.

Eligibility Criteria:
This trial includes the following eligibility criteria:- You are currently taking any medication or product to help you sleep, whether it's prescribed by a doctor or available without a prescription.You have a serious medical or mental health condition that is not under control.You sleep six hours or less per night, according to your answers on the PSQI questionnaire.You are currently using hypnosis for any reason.You cannot speak or understand English.

This trial has the following groups:- Group 1: Self-Administered Hypnosis
- Group 2: White Noise Hypnosis Control
