- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 25.0 and 32.0, which means you are overweight or obese.I have liver disease or a diagnosed liver condition.I currently smoke more than a pack a day or quit within the last six months.I have or am being treated for heart disease.I am in good health, not overweight or mildly obese, with no chronic diseases.I am currently taking medication for high cholesterol or high blood pressure.Your body mass index (BMI) falls between 25 and 32, which means you are overweight or obese.I have a history of neurological conditions or diseases.You have been doing intense exercise or lost a lot of weight in the last three months.The average weight for everyone in the study will be less than a certain number.I was hospitalized for a mental health condition in the last year.I have no physical limitations that would stop me from joining a fitness program.I am currently receiving treatment for kidney disease or undergoing dialysis.I cannot swallow or digest food properly due to a GI tract issue.I haven't had any cancer except for skin cancer without spread or cervical cancer in the last 5 years.I can move around on my own, with or without help from devices like canes or walkers.I am between 18 and 60 years old.I have been diagnosed with diabetes.You are able to do an exercise test without any health issues that would make it unsafe for you.I have been diagnosed with an immune disorder like HIV/AIDS.You have had problems with drinking or using drugs in the past year.I am willing and able to follow the study's requirements and procedures.I am not taking any medications or supplements for weight loss.I have been diagnosed with or am being treated for thyroid disease.
- Group 1: Placebo
- Group 2: 500 mg BAIBA supplementation + 40 mg Grains of Paradise
- Group 3: 500 mg BAIBA supplementation
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
