Who is the study for?
This trial is for adults over 18 in Pima County, Arizona who have been diagnosed with skin cancer and are in good health. Participants must speak English, be able to do gardening work, and have internet access with a camera-equipped phone or tablet.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests a community gardening program called Harvest for Health Together Arizona (H4H2-AZ), designed for melanoma survivors living in arid climates. It includes sun safety education and uses dosimeters and accelerometers to monitor adherence.See study design

Group I: Mentored Community GardeningExperimental Treatment1 Intervention
This arm will consist of gardening at least once per week, meeting with a master gardener mentor bi-monthly, and attending a gardening informational workshop once monthly.

Eligibility Criteria:
This trial includes the following eligibility criteria:- I have a serious illness or situation that could interfere with the study.I am over 18 and in good health.I have been diagnosed with skin cancer.I am currently on medication that weakens my immune system.I can garden, including kneeling and carrying light loads, with or without help from devices.
