- Criterion: You have a fusion of at least 4 levels in your spine.You are 18 years old or older and have been diagnosed with adult or degenerative scoliosis.You have a fused L2-S1 spine that makes it hard to give you Duragesic through your lower back.You have had three or fewer spinal fusion surgeries.You have a neuromuscular disease.You need surgery to fix back or leg pain.You have severe health issues that make you at high risk for surgery.You cannot tolerate or are dependent on opioids.You have serious other health problems.
- Group 1: Control Group
- Group 2: Study Group
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
