- You currently have cancer that is actively growing or spreading.You have a history of alcohol addiction or dependence, and have been actively consuming alcohol in the past 12 months.You are allergic to fish, eggs, soybeans, peanuts, or any ingredients in Smoflipid.You have received total parenteral nutrition (TPN) for more than 4 weeks in the past year before joining the study.
- Group 1: IntraLipid
- Group 2: SMOFLipid
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
