Study Summary

This trial will look at how exercise at different times of day affects blood pressure & other measures of blood vessel health in older women with hypertension.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for postmenopausal females aged 55-80 with high blood pressure, who are not on medication or have controlled blood pressure with medication. Participants should be able to walk without help and not be very active already. They can't join if they smoke, work night shifts, or have certain diseases like diabetes, heart failure, or recent cancer.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study looks at how exercising in the morning versus early evening affects blood pressure and vascular health in older women with hypertension. It explores whether timing exercise routines can improve treatment outcomes similar to taking medications at specific times of day.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves exercise as an intervention rather than medication, side effects may include typical responses to physical activity such as muscle soreness, fatigue, and increased heart rate during exercise.
