What You Need to Know Before You Apply

What is the purpose of this trial?

The main aim of this pilot trial is to investigate the feasibility of undertaking a randomized controlled trial involving adults living with HIV. Additionally, this trial will explore potential change differences in self-reported quality of life and blood-derived immune markers between a chiropractic care group and no treatment controls.

Inclusion Criteria

I am 18 years old or older.
I have a confirmed HIV diagnosis.
* Willing to complete online surveys

Timeline for a Trial Participant

Screening

Participants are screened for eligibility to participate in the trial

up to 2 weeks

Treatment

Participants receive chiropractic care once per week while continuing their physician-prescribed anti-retroviral therapy (ART) during the 6-month trial period

24 weeks
24 visits (in-person)

Follow-up

Participants are monitored for changes in quality of life and immune markers

4 weeks
