- You are between 18 and 55 years of age.You have experienced heat-related illnesses in the past, such as fainting or heat stroke.You have problems with sweating or cooling down.You have a history of heart or lung problems, metabolic disorders, Parkinson's Disease, multiple sclerosis or other conditions that affect your nervous system.You are not comfortable inserting and keeping in place a small, flexible rectal probe during exercise sessions.You have been diagnosed with or are currently receiving treatment for arthritis or any other inflammatory conditions like Lupus, gout, or Sjogrens syndrome.You bike for fun or exercise more than 2.5 hours per week.You have a condition that may cause low blood pressure when standing up.You have an allergy to cherries or certain food dyes.You are currently a smoker or quit smoking within the past year.
