Study Summary

This trial looks at how well the lamina cribrosa, a part of the eye, responds to changes in pressure.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for individuals with open-angle glaucoma who are willing to drink water and undergo imaging tests. It's not suitable for those who do not consent to these procedures or cannot be imaged.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study is examining how the depth of a part of the eye called the lamina cribrosa changes when eye pressure varies. Participants will either wear swimming goggles or undergo a procedure called laser suturelysis.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Potential side effects may include discomfort from wearing goggles, temporary vision changes, or eye irritation. The laser procedure could cause redness, mild pain, or temporary increased eye pressure.

Timeline
