- You have a long-term health condition.You have a disease that requires medication to suppress your immune system, such as inflammatory bowel disease.You have severe liver problems that are causing symptoms such as fluid buildup in the abdomen, confusion, bleeding from enlarged veins in the esophagus, or difficulty breathing due to liver-related lung issues.It's not clear if you have cirrhosis or not.
- Group 1: Healthy controls
- Group 2: Outpatients with cirrhosis
- Group 3: Inpatients with cirrhosis
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
