Who is the study for?
This study is for English-speaking adults aged 18-65 with a physician's diagnosis of Fibromyalgia, but no other chronic pain conditions. Healthy volunteers without chronic pain can also participate. Excluded are those with certain medical conditions, sensory differences relevant to the study, open sores on hands, central nervous system anomalies, pregnancy, or inability to rate pain.Check my eligibility

Eligibility Criteria:
This trial includes the following eligibility criteria:- You have a broken bone that needs to be submerged in water.I or my immediate family have a history of blood clots.You cannot feel a heat of 50 degrees Celsius or lower that is rated a 7 on our pain scale.You have any differences or injuries that might affect the study procedures.I have no history of major brain issues like stroke or dementia.I have a history of fainting or seizures.I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and have no other chronic pain conditions.My hands change color in cold weather and then back when warm.I am currently taking opiate medication.I do not have major health issues like kidney, liver, heart problems, diabetes, or seizures.You are unable to communicate or tell how much pain you are feeling.I am between 18 and 65 years old.You have experienced frostbite in the past.I have an open cut or sore on my hand.
