What You Need to Know Before You Apply
What is the purpose of this trial?
This study will test whether using ultrasound imaging within blood vessels during minimally invasive treatment of leg arteries in patients with peripheral artery disease leads to better clinical outcomes.

Timeline for a Trial Participant
Screening
Participants are screened for eligibility to participate in the trial
Treatment
Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) guided Femoropopliteal (FP) endovascular intervention is performed on patients with symptomatic peripheral artery disease
Follow-up
Participants are monitored for primary patency and other outcomes, including technical and procedural success, from enrollment to 6 months
Extended Follow-up
Participants are monitored for clinically driven-target limb revascularization, amputation-free survival, and functional status improvement up to 12 months

Treatment groups
Active Control
Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) is used during the treatment of the target lesion.
Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) is not used in the treatment of the target lesion.
