Study Summary

This trial will test whether exercise can improve how well the body regulates blood sugar and body weight.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for adults aged 25-55 with varying body weights and conditions: healthy, overweight, obese, or with type 2 diabetes. Participants should have a BMI within certain ranges depending on their health status and controlled HbA1c levels. Those pregnant, on specific medications, with severe hypertension or other serious health issues are excluded.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study investigates how exercise affects white adipose tissue (body fat) in relation to sugar regulation and weight control. It aims to understand if regular physical activity can lead to beneficial changes in the body's handling of sugar among different groups of people.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves an exercise intervention rather than medication, side effects may include typical responses to physical activity such as muscle soreness, fatigue or injury risk. However, these will vary based on individual fitness levels and the intensity of the exercise regimen.
