Diagnosis with type 1 diabetes (T1D) or other insulin deficiency diabetes (latent autoimmune disease of adulthood, diabetes secondary to pancreatitis)

This trial will create a mobile app to help people with type 1 diabetes exercise more confidently with personalized support and data-based insights. #diabetes #exercise

Who is the study for?
This trial is for middle-aged adults with Type 1 Diabetes or similar insulin deficiency conditions who exercise little, are under a doctor's care, own a smartphone, and have good internet. It excludes those with very high A1c levels, severe diabetes complications, recent severe hypoglycemia or ketoacidosis episodes, renal failure, cognitive issues, pregnancy, certain chronic diseases or disabilities affecting exercise.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests a mobile app designed to motivate people with Type 1 Diabetes to exercise more by providing personalized feedback based on their blood sugar levels, physical activity patterns as well as mood and sleep data.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since the intervention involves digital exercise guidance rather than medication or invasive procedures there may be minimal side effects; however potential risks could include injury from exercising without proper supervision.
