Eligibility Criteria Checklist
Specific guidelines that determine who can or cannot participate in a clinical trial Must have
Paediatric patients (<6 years old) diagnosed with developmental dysplasia of the hip or femur fracture who present to Texas Children's Hospital and plan to be treated with a spica cast.
Be younger than 18 years old

This trial looks at whether a waterproof spica cast is more effective than a standard cast in treating femur fractures and developmental dysplasia of the hip. Quality ratings and cost differences will also be evaluated.
